Everything you need to know about Hydrafacials

Do you want refreshed, revitalised and healthy skin, but are struggling to find the right treatment or skincare for you? This super popular facial is one of the best around! SO much more than just a facial, a Hydrafacial is a multi-step treatment that uses patented technology to cleanse, exfoliate, extract and treat the skin, leaving it looking glowy. It’s effectively six facials in one!

In this post, find out more about each step of the process. To book an appointment, call us on 01905 96 97 98 or book online here.

About Hydrafacials

Hydrafacials are available at either of our Worcester and Cheltenham clinics. This treatment has little to no side effects and instant results. Your aesthetician will talk to you about your current skin health and routine before carrying out the treatment and will customise the process accordingly. Hydrafacials are suitable for all skin types, brightening dull skin and maintaining elasticity. It also helps smooth away fine lines, wrinkles and open pores.

During the Hydrafacial, dead skin cells and impurities are gently removed and the skin is hydrated with antioxidants and peptides. It’s completely pain-free; all you need to do is lay back and enjoy the process! Our expert aestheticians will work with you to achieve the results you wish – unlike other treatments, Hydrafacials can be had as often as weekly or monthly to achieve fast and long-lasting results.

Please note, we advise not to wear any make-up until the day after your Hydrafacial.

The Six Steps of Hydrafacial

STEP 1: Detox

The first stage of the Hydrafacial treatment is detox! A specially formulated lymphatic drainage technique is used to help increase circulation, eliminating toxins.

STEP 2: Cleansing & Exfoliation

Next, any dead skin cells and impurities are gently lifted for a deep-cleaning result. Your aesthetician will use relaxing, warm towels to open the pores and extract impurities.

STEP 3: Brightening Agent

A gentle glycolic and salicylic solution is placed onto the skin, helping to loosen debris from your pores and brightening your skin.

STEP 4: Extraction

Blackheads and impurities in congested areas are extracted using honey extract and salicylic acid.

STEP 5: Hydration

A combination of hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and peptides replenish, plump up and hydrate your skin.

STEP 6: Rejuvenation

Every Hydrafacial is followed by a complimentary Dermalux® LED Phototherapy session to stimulate collagen and also reduces redness, leaving your skin glowing.

When is the best time to get a Hydrafacial?

There’s never a bad time to get a Hydrafacial! You can book in anytime that suits you; we recommend having regular treatments to get amazing, long-lasting results.

As summer is approaching, the warmer months and summer holidays call for natural, make-up free skin, so you’ll want your skin to look its best! If you suffer with rashes, redness and puffiness during the summer, a Hydrafacial may be just the thing for you; ingredients such as salicylic and glycolic acid used within the treatment can help reduce these effects.

Hydrafacial Perks

A Perk is the perfect treatment to add on to your Hydrafacial; it utilises unique, patented roller-flex technology to gently exfoliate the surface-layer dead skin cells and impurities while simultaneously delivering vital antioxidants to the skin. Treatments take under 10 minutes and the results are then prolonged and boosted for up to a month with a 30-day take-home booster serum:

Lips

Lips are especially prone to damage and dehydration. The HydraFacial Perk Lip revitalises your lips with refreshing and hydrating ingredients like peppermint oil and peony extract. Lips can look plumper for 48-72 hours later.

Eyes

Eyes show the first signs of ageing, stress, lack of sleep and poor diet where the skin is delicate and prone to thinning, fine lines and wrinkles. HydraFacial Perk Eye tones, firms and hydrates with key ingredients like horse chestnut seed extract and arnica flower extract to refresh and rejuvenate this area.
